All eyes were on Ryan Blaney when the overtime restart signaled the last push of this classic nighttime race at Daytona International Speedway. Hurtling down the backstretch on the final lap, Blaney must’ve watched pandemonium unfold behind when a wreck involving more than five different cars brought out a yellow flag and ended the race, giving Blaney the season-ending win. Poised for the playoff races, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top for the 2021 season.
Being so close to the historic Daytona International Speedway is just as exciting for those of us who work at Sunscape™ Daytona Beach as it will be for our residents. Living in Daytona, FL, it’s hard not to get swept up in the racing fervor that takes over the community every year.
We’re excited to be able to experience all the Daytona International Speedway has to offer, from the racing museum full of NASCAR memorabilia to annual races and events that bring thousands of people to our area. It is just one of the many attractions conveniently located to our assisted living and memory care community.
Congratulations to Ryan Blaney! Good luck in the playoffs!
